Job purpose

The R&D Competitive Intelligence Manager is responsible for gathering and analysing intelligence about competitors to support strategic decision-making within the company.

He/she will be providing data for monitoring the competitive landscape, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders and will contribute to the company's ability to anticipate research trends, identify business opportunities, and make informed strategic decisions to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

Monitoring R&D competitive intelligence space
Use different data sources (e.g. databases, reports, websites) related to the drug discovery activities performed by competitor companies
Integrate, prepare and share reports within R&D and other relevant functions of Angelini Pharma
Development of a living ecosystem scanning intelligence initiative to keep track of events in our competitive landscape and anticipate plausible next moves
Identifying the trends in our prioritized diseases and technologies
Future Business Challenges:
- Integration of R&D competitive landscape data into broader Angelini Pharma organization/function
- Membership in a cross-functional competitive intelligence team

Other information

Education University Degree in Pharmacy (or Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences). Post graduate education (e.g. MBA)
Experience (3-5 years)

- Cross-functional career track record

- International experience

- Launch/participate in a startup initiative
