Job purpose

The Project Manager Digital Core is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful implementation of digital core projects within the company. 

The Project Manager Digital Core will be a part of a cross-functional team, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to predefined quality standards. 

He/she will work closely with IT teams, Operative Companies (OpCos) , and external partners to align project objectives with organizational and business goals.

By leveraging project management methodologies and best practices, this role will effectively plan, execute, and monitor project activities while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

Project Planning: Analyze project proposals to establish time frames, funding limitations, and the appropriate process for accomplishing tasks. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities
Team Leadership & Management: Provide leadership and motivation to the team throughout the project life cycle. Define and assign roles and responsibilities, ensuring all tasks are progressing on schedule and within budget
Resource Allocation & Staffing: Develop a work plan and staffing strategy for project activities. This includes recruiting or assigning the necessary project personnel
Communication Management: Implement a project communication plan to ensure all team members and stakeholders are kept informed of project progress
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to minimize project uncertainties.
Quality Assurance & Control: Monitor project activities to ensure the currency, quality, and integrity of information. Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Strategic Alignment & Improvement: Ensure project goals align with business objectives and are achieved. Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify potential improvements and increase capability in project and portfolio management.

Education University Degree in Engineering or other Scientific Disciplines
Languages

Italian
Experience (3-5 years)

Experience in the Management Engineering field. PMP or Prince2 Certification is a plus.
